As the Technical Manager of the Process Engineering and Capital Sales team for Ovivo Australia I was involved in all aspects of the project life cycle. From initial contact with customers and new business development, right through process design, bid preparation, contract review, project management and commissioning to aftermarket service and support. The work also involved new process and product development, which lead to several developments, particularly in the area of membrane systems pre-treatment.I directly managed a team of Engineers as well as contract electricians, programmers, fitters, welders, and other skilled trades.In addition, the Technical Manager for Ovivo Australia was also supporting the Ovivo global team of engineers in the areas of primary treatment, coagulation and flocculation, dissolved air flotation, coalescing plate interceptor and sludge dewatering. The support lead to an expansion of Australian legacy products (DAF, CPI) into India, South East Asia and the Middle East. This work varied from technical support to working directly with international customers. This work was coupled with continued growth of the membrane systems business in Australia.

As the technical resource manager for Ovivo Australia I am responsible for operational support for all completed Ovivo projects and sites serviced by Ovivo Integrated Support. Working both directly with clients, as well as with Ovivo's account management team, I oversee all process improvent projects. These projects range from consultation, spare parts supply, process optimization and modification to small and large scale plant refurbishments.The position is also coupled with Capital project business and product development in the membrane and ultrapure water sectors. As the senior process engineer for the capital project membrane systems, I am responsible for all elements of process engineering, from design right through to commissioning.The core knowledge developed through design and construction of membrane systems allows for the technical resource managers role to direct aftermarket business development for membrane systems.
