I'm a television production company owner, format creator and business winner with a strong track record in devising, selling and producing TV formats, programmes and digital series to broadcasters across the UK, USA and continental Europe. As someone with a primarily international focus I am currently lucky enough to be leading paid development efforts on original formats for clients as diverse as Netflix, NBC, Hallmark, TVI, Keshet, BBC, and with major celebrity talent.Having previously worked as both a producer and in development for many world class independent producers and broadcasters on some of TV’s biggest factual and entertainment formats, in 2011 I founded The Connected Set, an RTS award-winning next generation independent television production company working at the intersection of TV and emerging technologies. I've always taken a strong interest in how technological change can inspire formats, and right now I'm a leading proponent of the application of AI in the creative process, something I have spoken about at conferences in the US, South Korea, Canada, Poland and the UK in 2024.Apart from overseeing The Connected Set's global growth strategy and market positioning, I also manage most of our key external relationships, set and drive our company culture, and I am ultimately responsible for our output: creatively, editorially, financially and legally.Over many years of hard graft, successful productions, awards, and representing the company through events, committees and judging for the likes of BAFTA, I have developed a huge contact book of commissioners and talent across the UK, US and Europe.I am incredibly proud to have built The Connected Set into the successful, diversified and profitable multiplatform business it is today. We have chosen to do this without any external investment to date, meaning we are one of a few truly independent production companies wholly owned by the management, allowing us to be completely focused on delivering a first class product for our clients.
