● Responsible for timely and accurate administration of 6 European sales offices in concurrence with local-GAAP and consolidation in Dutch-GAAP Netherlands, Spain, Germany, UK, France and Switzerland● Act as financial business partner to the management team of MO Europe and work closely with VP of Sales● Manage a team of 7 FTE’s in finance and 2FTE in BI -Regular meetings with team and help ensure they meet the deadlines and tasks required of them - Motivate them to achieve their goals and reduce the work loads by improving processes - Support them in the problems they encounter and train them accordingly ● Annual preparation of the budget and reporting monthly on actual VS Budget ● Implement Month end reconciliations and balance checks. ● Month end closing and reporting. - Review the month end clos proses and develop good analytical review during the month end close for good reporting outcomes. - Ensure that inter-companies are reconciling correctly, and payments are done regularly. - Create better month end close processes to reduce the deadlines for reporting.- Prepare analysis of all significant actual variances during the close prose - Prepare forecasting in our close process to see if we will meet the budget in order to mitigate any business risks.- Review the HR accounting process monthly by signing off control accounts. - Prepare the consolidate management accounts monthly (P&L, Balance sheet and Cashflow statements ● Ensure that tax declaration are done (CIT,VAT,ICL,ICP,Statistics) for Netherlands, Spain, Germany, UK, France and Switzerland. ● Ensure that transfer pricing is dealt with correctly in each country on an accounting and tax perspective, with auditors and tax consultants. ● Ensure that all audits are completed yearly on an individual country level and on a consolidated group level. ● Work closely with the VP of Finance to make sure we align with the group perspectives for finance.
