 Implemented a LAN with different subnets that contain hosts, switches and routers. Configured router with DHCP options to allow host computers to receive IP addresses from router. Configured routers in simulated and live environments using DHCP, NAT, HSRP, EIGRP, ACL, telnet, SSH, RIP, ARP, OSPF. Configured Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches with PPP, STP, EtherChannel and VLANs. Installed VPN and remote installation of software and troubleshooting. Configured FortiGate and Sophos UTM devices for VPN tunneling, routing, allowing LAN and WAN traffic, password recovery and configuring security features. Configured and installed different Linux environments including Fedora, Mint and Ubuntu.Environment: TCP/IP Networks, VMWare, Hyper-V, GNS3, Cisco Networking, DHCP, DNS, Windows OS, Linux OS, FortiGate UTM, Sophos UTM, RDP, SSH.

 Part of a team of two developers, implemented the Canada.ca website ‘Find a Service’ application Converted Perl application to Java and made it WET4 compatible using JSP, SQL and WebLogic Deployed application using Web Experience Toolkit (WET)Environment: Java, JSP, SQL, WebLogic, Perl, Oracle, DB2, HTML5.

 Part of a team of 10 developers, implemented a commercial system called ‘Phoenix’, which assessed goods that were being imported into Canada through any means. Developed External Research, Startup and managed ‘User Permission’ pages to successful completion. Developed Java interface to third party vendor to obtain business intelligence information. Developed using Primefaces 5.0, Hibernate, DB2, Java, HTML using Eclipse Kepler and IBM RSA 8.5 and Spring annotations for component-based applications. Participated in the analysis and design meetings with clients and other developers. Coded using Agile Methodology and used automated test tools.Environment: Primefaces 5.0, Hibernate, DB2, Java, HTML, Eclipse Kepler, IBM RSA 8.5, Spring Framework.

 Developed the Administration and Reporting Module for Online Standardized Testing system (OSTS) for Government of Canada employees (team of 5 developers). Developed modules using, JSP, Struts and WebLogic as the application server with DB2 backend. Participated in analysis and design for the second release of this system using Agile Methodology. Interacted with Tester, DBA and client groups within CRA.Environment: Java, JSP, Struts, WebLogic, DB2.
