In the later half of 2021, Tesco Extra in Kilmarnock began an complete store refit. Having the entire structure and organization of the store remodeled. I was employed as member of a team known as Here2Help. This was vital to the stores movement, as every other day the store would move a set of shelves to a new location. My job in that position is to calm customers who would be upset, angry or simply just lost. This would maintain customer relations and allow for traffic flow to be mediated and controlled. In addition to my responsibilities of customer guidance, I also served a checkout operator scanning items, ensuring customers we’re okay and pleased with their service within the store. Additional services I worked with included: Shelf stacking, stock rotation, stock organization, assisted shopping and shelf organization. All of this required a balance of individual and independent work, management of time and energy and responsibility. As well as working adaptably and under instruction.

As a part of my HNC course, I attened the Galleon Centre as part of my work placement. Here i was responsible for assisting staff in their tasks of customer service, gym instructing, cleaning, and assisting new comers in their introduction to the gym environment.
