Reporting to the Director of Junior Rowing, I am tasked with introducing a more structured approach to the S&C and core programmes in addition to bringing a sharper focus on the technical aspects of the sport, including the use of telemetry. Other responsibilities include writing the Performance programme delivered on the Teambuildr App, data collection and analysis, and creating a workable budget within current constraints. As well coaching land training from Monday to Thursday and water sessions on Saturdays and Sundays, I ensure that we have coaching cover across all Performance sessions. I am also responsible for crew selection for races in consultation with the other coaches, and I attend races and training camps.

Working with the Board of Trustees on strategy to deliver the clubs long term aims. Responsibilities include preparation of cash flow forecasts and working as team on a new governance manual. Managing a large building with over 400 members. Managing the club flats and cafe. Building and managing an events business. Recruiting and managing teams of volunteers to assist with wide variety of duties.

Responsible for leading on the Junior sections S&C and core programmes and for ensuring all junior coaches adopt a rigourous approach to the technical elements of the sport. In addition taking a senior coaching role in the J18 Boys Performance squad with emphasis on performing well at the Henley Royal Regatta. In 2021 the J18 boys reached the semi finals of the Fawley Cup for the first time

Responsible for developing rowers with 2-3 years experience to facilitate progression through our squad system with ultimate aim to win a club event at Henley Royal Regatta.

Pleasance Theatre Trust is an organisation housing an Internationally renowned Comedy and Theatre festival as part of the Edinburgh festival, a London based theatre venue and a vibrant youth theatre.

Our aim is to improve literacy in areas of social deprivation. Through a variety of drama activities and other creative endeavours such as puppet/mask making, dance and song we look to connect a child emotionally to a story and the range of characters found in a particular school's reading list. This process provides a bridge between the fun and engagement to be experienced by the child during the workshop and the progression to picking up the book and reading it by themselves.

Our drama based holiday workshops for young children include singing,dance and other creative activities. Research shows that in addition to being fun these workshops can improve confidence, communication and focus, all essential life skills.

Using the power of live music we are reaching out to vulnerable old people isolated in the community. We are taking music into care homes and day centres bringing life and colour into the lives of elders. In time we will also be working with vulnerable young people using music to extend horizons and help fulfill potential.
