I am a project management professional with experience leading initiatives across multiple industries: IT, Healthcare, and Logistics. My strengths include communicating with stakeholders, investment management, and improving business processes. I am organized, efficient, detail oriented, and I love working with teams that are out to solve big problems and create an excellent customer experience! In my current role, I serve as Project Manager for the City of Durham’s Technology Solutions Department, where I manage technical infrastructure and software implementation projects that impact various departments across the City as well as the City’s core network. Prior to this role, I served as a Network Project Manager at IBM, where I managed networking projects that impact IBM campuses globally. I successfully delivered multiple projects that focused on deploying new hardware to support network modernization, and upgrading firmware for various services at our strategic PoP locations. I provided day to day direction for our cross-functional teams and removed roadblocks that are presented. I also oversaw the multimillion-dollar investment budget and asset portfolio for the network development lab, which consists of 180 racks of networking equipment across multiple vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Versa, Palo Alto, etc.). I have obtained several certifications through PMI (Project Management Institute), IBM, and other organizations, which demonstrates my commitment to continuous professional development and innovation.
