Current- Writing and submitting accurate and timely reports to provide investigators, attorneys, and other officers with pertinent information.- Testifying and presenting in court in front of both juries and grand juries for criminal cases and have provided advice and guidance for civil cases.- Years of experience and Spanish language have made me a reliable asset to specialized units such as investigations, gang and narcotics units and forensics, and other jurisdictions.- As a first responder, I have provided medical care for emergencies including CPR and first aid.- Resolve calls for service by evaluating the nature of calls, investigate the circumstances of the situation, conduct interviews, collect data, and determine the best resolutions to enforce laws and achieve justice using fair and unbiased discretion.- Ability to mediate confrontations and successfully deescalate volatile situations, often during violent circumstances that would have led to further injury or damage.- Other responsibilities include investigating crime scenes, interviewing suspects and witnesses, responding to burglar alarms, safely resolving traffic hazards, arresting criminals, and ensuring the safety of the public and its property.
