Once an engine is fully constructed, I conduct electrical and pressure tests to identify any open circuits or leaks and finally, I complete a Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) against a set criteria of vital assembly aspects before End of Line (EOL) testing. • I have assembled over 200 engines, 85% of which have been completed independently at the highest quality using proper build techniques. Furthermore, I have installed 1000+ various engine components including turbo’s, WCAC units, electrical harnesses’, fuel injectors, water pumps etc with high attention to detail and tremendous care. • Collaborated with various engineers to optimise engine build process as well as design new tooling equipment.• Documented engine anomalies on traceability sheet to help keep each operator up to date with previous problems along the production line.• Effectively communicated ideas to improve the production line, with goals to evenly distribute build time across all stations.• Teaching new team members to confidently build engines through a structured training programme.• Carrying out necessary quality checks.
