Grant Coordinator, Air Program Grants
CurrentPrimarily responsible for ensuring that the 25 state and local governmental agencies in the Southeast receive federal financial assistance (e.g., grants) of $25 million per year to implement the air pollution control programs as authorized under the Clean Air Act (CAA). Manage a budget of over $30 million in air grant funds. Coordinate the annual negotiation and review of the CAA Section 105 Air Planning Agreement with the state and local governmental agencies and with EPA program staff and management. Provide guidance and training to internal and external customers including managers, staff, and grant recipients regarding federal grant management principles and EPA grant policy. Serve as liaison to the 25 state and local air directors and staff and to the Office of Air and Radiation at EPA headquarters in Washington, DC.
