After being on the design side for 4 years I decided to get back on the construction side. My first project with Plant was the renovation and rejuvenation of the historic Palace Hotel in San Francisco. 500 guestrooms, 55 Suites including The Presidential Suite, fitness center and pool, and the bringing the entire building up to current ADA building code. Typical duties include:• Act as liaison with the client, architect, consultants and the Department of Building Inspection• Prepare and maintain the project schedule• Prepare client change orders, subcontractor change orders, letters, memorandums, notices, etc.• Verify the work scope of each subcontractor’s bid and write each subcontract• • Control subcontractors and monitor their performance• Maintain quality control and production efficiency• Resolve production problems• Maintain the cost control system and control job costs

San Francisco Bay Area

• Led the expansion of AvroKO into a new branch in San Francisco including new office location and buildout, interviewing, hiring, and training new staff to bring them on brand• Liaison between the principal / design director and design team throughout the process, organize and run regular in-house presentation sessions, participate and present during all key client meetings• Manage and coordinate all communications to and from consultants, including architecture, FF&E, graphics, and owner’s consultants• Devise and coordinate execution of services per scope, budget and schedule, oversee the production and delivery of quality and timely sets of construction documents, specifications, budgets and reports, review all outgoing documentation to ensure they incorporate design intent• Supervise, develop and mentor junior designers

Greater New York City Area

• Managed in-house furniture and lighting design team to design and develop custom furniture, finishes, cabinetry, and lighting• Worked with various vendors across the country to fabricate custom designs and deliver them to clients ranging from single and chain restaurants, to hotels overseeing production of quantities from 1 to 2,500• Produced fabrication-level drawings and supporting documentation such as electrical, lighting, and finish schedules. Worked closely with architects, consultants, contractors, and subs on execution of the project while maintaining strong attention to detail and loyalty to concept• Maintained client relationships, prepared presentation materials, budgets, and provided clients with guidance in decision-making process

Austin, Texas Area

• Managed day to day operations of a regional sound company providing sound reinforcement and production services for concerts and events including SXSW, corporate events and many national music festivals• Coordinated with clients to design sound systems and production, pricing, and crew commensurate with their needs• Planned and designed company growth including designing new road cases, electrical systems, cabling and truss systems for ease of production

• Started a PM company alongside AvroKO to oversee both design and construction side management providing constructability and estimation on the design side and budgeting and GC coordination on the construction site• Accounts included all AvroKO projects, BLT Steak Hospitality Group, Smith and Wollensky/4th Wall Hospitality Group, The Melt• Personally have overseen and constructed over 50 restaurant and hotel projects with ranges up to $10m
