I offer my Expat Coaching Services to companies committed to the expatriation process of their employees AND THEIR FAMILIES. I add my professional and personal experience to my Coaching training accredited by the ICF. My services are focused on accompanying the expatriate employee's partner during the transitions associated with expatriation offering two types of support:- Non-directive coaching sessions- Facilitation of the "Adapt and Succeed Abroad" program.

During the 2020-2021 school year I have been full-time facilitating the transition of my most important project: my family. I provided support and resources to my family while shaping my next personal/professional step.

In this position I stretched my flexibility, adaptation and collaboration skills, and my open-mindedness. It was also an eye opener to a broader and deeper view of the IB curriculum. I was able to use extensively my social skills by interacting daily with the different school actors: administrators, guests, parents, teachers, students, etc. I worked in a very multicultural and diverse environment, in a highly multi-functional role which required to be flexible and adaptable. I acquired and integrated new perspectives from working in a multilingual-multinational team and by serving a diverse community and their different needs. This position also required excellent collaboration and communication skills that I used to team up with teachers in projects and when participating in assemblies and department meeting.

During this school year I combined my position as library assistant with a teaching position in the Spanish department.My biggest challenge was combining the two responsibilities and tasks, making their schedules compatible and avoiding neglecting the functions for which I had been hired. The challenge turned out to be a difficult one. I succeeded thanks to the unconditional support and flexibility of the two people I reported to.In this position, I belonged to two different departments and had two non-complementary functions and two bosses. I had to apply a great deal of work, communication and transparency, adaptability and organization skills.It was a year of learning and challenges. I discovered the value and pleasure of teamwork, I relied on an open relationship with both my students and my colleagues so that we all achieved our goals at the end of the year.At the end of the school year, I chose to focus on the role more compatible my family life.

For three years I taught Spanish at a prestigious French education center abroad. During this time, I was able to deeply understand the French educational system, its values, its strengths and weaknesses from a professional perspective (as a teacher) and as mother of three pupils. On a professional level, I grew up as educator. I was part of a multicultural team (North American, French, Spanish mainly), I taught a group of students diverse both in ages (11 years - 16 years), levels (initiation - natives) and nationalities. I incorporated extensively the use of technology for learning purposes. I created spaces for oral expression and teamwork in the classroom. Dealing with parents and the school administration was also a source of great satisfaction and growth. On a personal level, I embraced this opportunity to discover the richness and variety of the Francophone and Francophile communities.

This position involved the creation of the Spanish Department at the UNECA which included: development of a leveled syllabus, placement tests, group assignment and teaching. I was exposed to a very diverse and multicultural environment and succeeded in creating a stimulated learning community.
