After providing general management services for two years on a consulting basis I am excited to formally take on the General Manager role at Triumph Mountain Properties. I am chiefly responsible for developing and implementing the strategies required to expand the top-line revenues of the business earned through its vacation rental activities, as well as expanding the portfolio of properties under management. Triumph Mountain Properties is a member of the Triumph Partners group of companies which also includes Triumph Development, Triumph Custom Homes, Triumph Recreation and Leisure, and an interest in Ascent Sotheby's International Realty. As a group we are able to provide a complete set of real estate related services, particularly to clients with an in resort property.

Small Champions is a grass roots charitable foundation providing programs for young children with such diverse disabilities as Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, blindness and autism. Designed for children from Eagle County, Small Champions strives to introduce a wide variety of sports to each of its participants. Programs include skiing and snowboarding, swimming, horseback riding, rock climbing and golf. As a virtually all volunteer run organization, each board member brings certain skills and expertise to their time commitment. I manage to accounting for the organization, file the necessary periodic information with the State of Colorado, and complete and file the required IRS documentation each year under the group's 501(c)(3) status.

Partnered with my sister Mary-Katherine Connolly Ferero to take over a resort property management/hospitality business. Built it into a successful niche player, specializing in the management of high-end privately owned residential resort properties and the short-term vacation rental of such properties. Shared responsibility for day-to-day operating management, accounting and cash management, guest services, owner relations, marketing and strategic planning. From 2000 through 2005 we also provided general contracting services in the Vail area successfully building or renovating residential properties with a total market value of approximately $50 million.In July 2011 we placed the property management/hospitality business into a joint venture called Triumph Mountain Properties, a related holding to Triumph Development from Bethesda, MD and Vail, CO. Provided general management services to this joint venture, including budgeting and financial performance reporting. Also implemented a software conversion from First Resorts to Barefoot Technologies.Continue to provide accounting and strategic financial consulting services to Carolyn D. Eaglevail, Colorado

EagleVail is a community of over 1400 property owners at the eastern end of Eagle County, Colorado. During my time as a Board member and as President we worked on several initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the EVPOA in carrying out its responsibilities in terms of covenant enforcement and Design Review processes. Worked closely with members of the EagleVail Metropolitan District and members of the general community to combine the governance functions of both entities. In the midst of a teetering local economy we recognized the need to invest in our community's amenities in order to try and put a floor under property value devaluation and to position the community for a quicker rebound in values as economic conditions improved. Was an integral part of the group of community members and leaders that put forward a ballot initiative to raise over $7 million in a bond issuance to make improvements to the golf course, swim club, parks, signage, and to complete several other capital projects. Personally delivered the case in favor of the ballot initiative in a series of community meetings.

Responsible for gathering all financially relevant operating data from each department across all resorts and subsidiaries. Created routines to extract data from the formats in which they were received to one compatible with the enterprise software used to create budget vs. actual and other strategic financial management reporting.

Member of the team that established this joint venture between National Geographic Television and Docstar, a subsidiary of Canal+. Responsible for day-to-day operations of the JV, sale contract management, royalty statement preparation, accounting for all producers represented. Worked closely with MD to help formulate expansion strategies, and with outside consulting resources to understand and minimize international double-taxation issues. Joint venture was profitable in less than 11 months, over 7 months ahead of forecast.

Established this consulting practice with colleagues from James Madison Limited, Matthew Johnson and Charles Willis. We developed and implemented programs to educate bankers and policymakers from post Iron Curtain countries. Program topics included commercial bank operating and management practices in open economies, money supply management and monetary policy, and fundamental micro/macroeconomics in open economies. Programs were run in Washington, DC through the local chapter of the American Institute of Banking, as well as overdseas in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Sofia.

Began as a branch teller. Moved into Real Estate Loan Admin with responsibility for tracking draws on large commercial construction projects, ensuring all relevant documentation per loan agreements was in place and maintained, performing periodic site inspections, and providing relevant data to management. Transferred to northern Virginia subsidiary and took on treasury management functions such as settling the bank's position at the Fed each day, buying/selling Fed Funds and short term US Treasury repo agreements, and oversaw the subsidiary's accounting department. Team member across the holding company to introduce and implement asset/liability management analyses and processes to maximise interest income earnings.
