As an instructor pilot for one of the newest aircraft in the Marine Corps' inventory, responsible for training new pilots in operational planning, problem framing, and technical aviation skills to prepare them for dynamic combat support operations.Led volunteer initiatives in support of the Challenged Athletes Foundation, a local charity with the mission of supporting people with physical disabilities, to include many combat wounded veterans. Responsible to the battalion commander for coordinating and controlling all required air support in training and during combat operations in Afghanistan. Served as the lead planner for a dozen air assault operations involving the insert and extract of 1,300 Marines and Afghan National Security Forces. Worked with international units from more than a dozen countries and controlled missions with national-level aviation assets to monitor, track, and interdict enemy targets across an area of more than 80,000 square kilometers.Managed the most active helicopter/tilt-rotor landing zone in the Helmand Province of Afghanistan and controlled more than 1,200 aircraft from nearly every NATO country participating in Operation ENDURING FREEDOM in Afghanistan.

As an attack helicopter pilot with HMLA-367, responsible for providing air support to thousands of Marines in the Helmand Province of Afghanistan during combat operations.As an aircraft maintenance supervisor, reduced the average timeline for critical aircraft maintenance inspections by from 3 weeks down to only 5 days, drastically enhancing maintenance readiness and increasing squadron operational capacity.
