2017 - Lead Civil/Structural Engineer – ARC 100 Project (GE Hitachi and Advanced Reactor Concepts)Lead the internal team and coached the customer on structural design principles and seismic methodology for the ARC-100 Sodium Fast Reactor.Delivered $1.7 MM of scope to advance the ARC-100 design for the Canadian regulator on a dedicated 10-person team. Earned $0.6 MM order based on increased customer confidence and outstanding NPS. Solely responsible for delivering seismic analysis and civil design strategies for the 100 MWe ARC-100 SFR in Canada. 2013 - 2017: North Anna 3 Combined License ApplicationCollaborated with a multidiscipline, international team to deliver dozens of structural and seismic design reports for successful completion of the COLA and FSAR for the North Anna 3 Economic Simplified Boiling Water Reactor. Winner of the GE Engineering Award for Outstanding Technical Achievement. Provided technical subject matter expertise for the customer for four years and during two NRC audits leading to regulatory approval to license and construct the largest industrial megaproject in GE’s history, the ESBWR at NA3.2011 - 2017: New Plant Projects and Engineering ServicesDelivered multiple NPP technical engineering reports and services for customers in the U.S., Finland, Japan, and Taiwan. Proven ability to multitask important deliverables and lead teams across multiple disciplines. Designed NPP structures to withstand complex loading functions such as bomb blast. Provided technical expertise during aircraft impact analysis NRC audits.Performed testing and data services for the Lungmen nuclear power plant in Taiwan. Implemented a startup pipe testing program, performed the Structural Integrity Test, processed data and wrote the SIT report for Taiwan Power. Other projects include reinforced concrete design for hydrodynamic loading, seismic fragility, SSI, bomb blast, and aircraft impact analysis.
