Matt Humphries is a Account Director at BT. Colleagues describe them as "I worked with Matt for about 3-years. When I first met Matt, I was really sceptical (sorry Matt) I had been working with BT as one of our many "strategic" partners and I was all for giving the business to someone else. Matt was terrific, he worked tirelessly to secure and develop BT as a real partner. Through the years' Matt eliminated the competition on multiple occasions as we looked to renew various services. Furthermore, Matt was able to beat off all the competition on our final renewal cycle and secured all our telco services under one MSA with one single renewal date and single point of view. Under the final MSA multi-tiered deal Matt also helped us to consolidate and right-size our entire estate. Whilst I'm painting a picture of Matt being a superhero, he is not, he was the face of BT, however, what was unique and refreshing was that Matt was really passionate about his customer accounts and would quite frequently go-up against a fellow BT employee to fight the customers' corner. Matt is a really decent account executive, he's not a traditional hardcore sales guy, he doesn't wear brown shoes but does want to do right by you. Oh and finally, ask him about the Nerf Gun incident, electric dog collar and the time I dropped the "C- bomb" in a meeting!
