The mission of the Urban Health Initiative (UHI), a program of the Emory University School of Medicine, is to improve the health of and decrease disparities among diverse and under-served populations in urban communities. My primary role is directing multiple programs that focus on food insecurity and disaster preparedness in vulnerable communities.
