My career has been spent immersed in various roles within the technology industry. These roles often overlap due to an evolving technological landscape and my continued vigilance to adapt to changing market conditions. Working outside Silicon Valley at the dawn of the internet-era and the subsequent dotcom collapse provided me unique and valuable experience that formal education alone could not adequately prepare me for. I was instrumental in developing software technologies that drive popular web application systems today. Through the adoption popular management and development methodologies, I became experienced in managing local and remote developers, as well as outsourced multi-national teams.Following the ominous events preceding the dotcom collapse there was a paradigm shift that honed my skills as a leader and decision maker. Technology investment changed from capitalizing innovations where speculation of new revenue drove spending, to a more conservative ideology where deliverables must result in cost-saving efficiency with a quantifiable ROI that could be demonstrated to stakeholders. Since then, solving corporate business processes and operational problems by leveraging a technology toolset has become my expertise and passion. I have worked with Fortune 500 and start-ups designing and developing leading-edge technology solutions and recommending blends of existing and customized technology products. The diversity of my innovative contributions reaches across many industries and includes nationally recognized solutions for financial, healthcare, government, and more.Speaking both the language of the business and that of the technologist, I have learned to effectively manage both technical and non-technical people, collaborate with C-level management, and transform business ideas into robust and scalable solutions. Coupled with my extensive exposure I believe I possess unique insight, skills, and experience that make me a valuable asset to any company.
