I currently serve as Senior Political Advisor to Vice President Kamala Harris on the Harris for President campaign. Prior to my role on the campaign, I was privileged to serve as Special Assistant to the President and as the Vice President's Director of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs. During my time at the White House I was instrumental in developing and executing the Vice President's role leading the fight for reproductive freedom across the country. I also led the team that carried forward an engagement strategy with the Vice President centered around youth outreach, including the Vice President's "Fight for Our Freedoms" 2023 college tour. It's crazy to think that I have been a campaign operative for over 25 years (yikes how many cycles is that!). I have been based primarily in my home state of Nevada, getting my start in politics working with former Majority Leader Harry Reid going back to his 1998 re-election efforts and serving as political advisor in his subsequent 2004 and 2010 elections. It has been the honor of my life to be a part of building the "Reid Machine" and help build the Nevada State Democratic Party infrastructure, a model for the rest of the country. I have played a senior role at every level of the ballot in Nevada, home to national historic wins, that include: electing Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, the first Latina US Senator; a ballot measure that closed the background check loophole on all gun sales; and leading state legislative efforts that led to the election of Nevada’s first African American Speaker and the first female majority legislature in the country. Committed to the values of the West, I count as some of my most meaningful work, the management of coalitions that advocated successfully for transitioning to 100% clean energy standards and the creation of two national monuments. I love the Las Vegas community and my favorite place to be is on a hike in Red Rock or at a Golden Knights hockey game. I am active on several boards, including a founding board member for Emerge Nevada Chapter and currently serve on the board of the Nevada Conservation League, Second Chance and the Springs Preserve. My favorite title is mom to two amazing humans and wife to Clark County Commissioner, Justin Jones.
