-Supervise operation of quiet study area and maintain appropriate discipline as well as facilitate the collection and dispersion of classroom assignments.- Collect appropriate academic and behavioral data and maintain records on all DMC students during assigned days.- Consult with teachers, counselors, administrator, parents and psychologist regarding DMC student’s behavioral adjustment (in both special and regular education).- Attend staff and professional meetings.

Primary purpose: The YAC Coordinator will work closely with ABC program staff and is responsible for coordinating and facilitating Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) meetings and activities as an aid to help youth develop leadership skills. General responsibilities include coordinating program activities, developing and delivering curricula and ensuring contract compliance.Programmatic• Coordinate and facilitate YAC meetings and activities, in accordance to program and contract guidelines• Supervise work study students, and directs work activities.• Establish and maintain partnerships with San Antonio ISD school staff to promote Youth Advisory Committee in the school setting.• Conduct outreach to increase awareness of YAC and ABC program services• Coordinate retention efforts to keep youth engaged in YAC activities• Deliver curricula and develop lesson plans as needed. Primary Purpose: The Youth Services Specialist is responsible for cultivating positive relationships with youth by delivering age- appropriate curricula, structured recreation, chaperoning field trips, and assisting with daily program operations so that youth acquire the academic and personal skills necessary for success.• Demonstrate adherence to the CORE values of Good Samaritan Community Services. • Develop and deliver curricula and writing age-appropriate lesson plans according to the assigned theme and the YDS program model. • Assist in delivering assessments to youth. • Supervise structured and unstructured recreation. • Oversee scheduled participant meal times. • Chaperone field trips as needed. • Track daily attendance in program activities. • Track participant’s behavior and complete incident reports as required. • Input required program data into appropriate data system(s) as needed. • Report significant incidents to involving participants to immediate supervisor. • Perform other duties as assigned by Youth Education Program Manager.

Primary Purpose: The Facilitator I facilitates the classroom curriculum, for a single-session classroom, in accordance with regulations, licensing, guidelines, and will use agency standards to ensure that services provided are in alignment with the Social Determinants of Health through a trauma informed care lens as defined by the agency. Maintains supervision of children at all times while building a positive relationship with students which focuses on positive communication, appropriate physical proximity, respect, positive discipline and guidance. Ensures the classroom is one in which children are aware of expectations, provided with rules, and maintain consistency.
