As an undergraduate Teacher's Assistant, my duties include promoting and facilitating classroom and laboratory discussions through teaching lectures and supporting faculty members with instructional preparation, delivery, and assessment. I was a TA for two courses, the 1st was a course on electronic materials and devices, and the 2nd was a course on MATLAB.

While at JHU APL my job was to take the established mission and vision that my Supervisor was given by our Sponsor, and develop a functional and detailed plan that would enable my team to execute our assignment. As the Level of Effort Owner for the Defensive Cyber Operations portion of the project I led a cross-functional team consisting of IT specialists and engineers in order to create a test-bed that would enable my team to develop, test, and validate counter infiltration, disruption, and obfuscation techniques that would be utilized by adversary’s attempting to access our networks. In order to achieve this tasks I held weekly progress meetings that enabled me to guide the project towards completion and resolve any source of ambiguity to help reach consensus among the team. Afterwards, I developed and presented metrics to APL and Military Leadership that aided in identifying the strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities within the Lab's proprietary software to combat these threats.

Through my previous internship at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles I was able to further cultivate my ability to lead a cross-functional team in order to design a product. As the Chassis Electromechanical Engineer in the Chassis Department I developed and executed test plans in order to examine the functionality of the electronic shifter module for various vehicle programs in order to create various Design Failure Effect Mode & Analysis reports. Furthermore, I fabricated solutions for the design and process of components for the chassis, and optimized component requirements versus vehicle requirements for maximum efficiency in order to ensure they passed government regulations. Outside of my assignment, I volunteered with my fellow product development interns in order to design a concept vehicle for RAM Brand. Through this project I worked with marketing, finance, and other engineering interns in order to design a vehicle that exceeded not only technical requirements, but also fit design and financial constraints as well as market needs. Through our teamwork and dedication my team won first place out of a competition of over hundreds of interns and RAM patented our ideas. Through this experience, I learned how to strike a balance between our idealistic vision and realistic goals.

As an intern I worked in a three-man group and conducted experiments on the saturation of detectors using an Ultra Short Pulsed Laser (USPL). My responsibilities included: developing and integrating a LabVIEW program and MATLAB script in order to automate data collection between the Lab's instruments, as well as prototyping a light sensor in PSpice and then designing it in order to accomplish our objectives. At the end of the internship, I delivered an out brief to congressional and military personnel in order to gain further funding for the internship program.
