Merve Karacaoglu is a PhD | Software Engineer at SkyLeague. She is proficient in German, Dutch and English. Colleagues describe her as "Merve worked as a research assistent on a project set out as part of a larger research project between Cambridge University and NLR. That required a lot of independent work in order to develop and carry out a study on visual-auditory interplay in relation to aircraft noise, using VR. Not only did Merve develop highly professional and creative plans to tackle the experiment, but also worked very independently and was often faster than the project had foreseen. But most importantly, Merve is a very social, cheerful and outgoing personality, not afraid to step out of her comfort zone and intrinsically socially interested in others. In a Dutch speaking context she managed to become a common (and beloved) face and to mingle with staff from other departments as well. Summing up Merve's qualities; smart, hard-working, eager to learn, not afraid for challenges and deeply social, it is a pity we couldn't provide a permanent position in the team!"
