I am a senior staff software engineer at Databricks working on the query processing side of things, and (geo)spatial support in particular.Previously I was principal engineer at Amazon Redshift, working on the query processing side of the service. In particular, was the tech lead for Redshift's spatial support.Before that I was a senior software engineer at Apple Maps. I was developing a library for GIS operations that were used internally in the various pipelines of the data for maps. Prior to Apple I was a senior software engineer at Oracle and more precisely MySQL.
