I will graduate in December 2024 with a B.A. in Communication Arts from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. While attending school I have taken a career break, and upon completion I plan to transition into nonprofit work in the greater Huntsville area. Though I had an amazing and diverse career with the National Park Service, I would like to apply my experience to a more localized role in the community. My personal mission is to learn and grow into a role that allows me to work strategically to improve my community. With dozens of amazing nonprofit organizations in North Alabama, I want to help my future employer by building partnerships, growing resources, and writing grants to sustain a more vibrant future for all. I bring public relations experience, strategic planning, and intentional written and verbal communication to any team. I also excel at conflict resolution, data-driven work, and strong facilitation skills which have helped me to build relationships with others and create impactful programs.
