I am the Associate General Counsel & Corporate Secretary for The Boston Beer Company, responsible for managing a team that handles a broad range of legal matters. My areas of focus include securities and public company governance compliance, Board of Directors support, intellectual property protection, advertising and marketing compliance, HR support, ESG, contract preparation and review, mergers & acquisitions, budgeting, and litigation support. I am also helping to oversee the legal affairs of BBCCC, a subsidiary focused on developing cannabis-infused beverages for the Canadian market. My attention to detail, organizational skills, strong sense of discipline, and commitment to developing people have enabled me to be successful in this role. I have also been able to leverage my past experience in multimedia, digital technologies, and marketing to understand and advance the practical needs of the business. Additionally, my previous work in litigation has enhanced my capability to assess, understand, and mitigate legal and business risks. The brands I support for Boston Beer include Sam Adams, Dogfish Head, Angry Orchard, Twisted Tea, Truly Hard Seltzer, Angel City Brewery, Coney Island Brewing, Hard Mountain Dew, and Teapot.Separately, I am passionate about baseball, particularly the Red Sox and the team's minor league affiliates.
