I am an Information Technology and security professional, experienced with both military and civilian efforts in the delivery of medium- to large-scale business applications. For 25 years now I have had the opportunity to leverage my evolving skills in the service of demanding, mission-driven organizations, of all sizes from the smaller and newer partnerships, to larger established corporations such as Intel, Health Net and IBM.I have a reputation for assiduous attention to detail, and a strong trend of continually-elevated responsibility in these efforts. The most impactful contributions within my career include: Certification according to DIACAP (DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process, 8500.1); developing whitepapers on cryptographic tools and BKM (best known methods); formal presentations to senior executive staff; 24x7 on-call support of mission-critical applications and server farms; architecture of new desktop operating system configurations; and software development for document automation (scan, OCR, validation, workflow and archive).I have specific experience in configuring database servers, web application servers and shared corporate telephony equipment. As a result of my work in these specialties, I was promoted to Project Manager in the DIACAP effort, in which it was my responsibility to create quality network engineering drawings describing the infrastructure's inner workings.
