I have worked to provide acute and community based nutrition care to patients across the lifespan, including inpatients, outpatients and outreach dietetic services.I have provided client centred care in the nutritional assessment, education and counselling of patients across a broad range of clinical areas including malnutrition, diabetes (type 1, 2 and gestational), weight management, disability, liver disease, kidney disease, dialysis, coeliac disease, food allergy & intolerance, faltering growth and feeding aversions.I have a commitment to ongoing professional development and have completed the Certificate in Paediatric Nutrition and Dietetics at the Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne. I have a special interest in the area of diabetes management and in 2017 I completed a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education at Deakin University. In 2018 I completed the credentialling process through the Australian Diabetes Educators Association to become a Credentialled Diabetes Educator. I have a friendly, organised and motivated personality and my aim is to be able to provide patient centred care and assist members of the community to gain the knowledge and skills to improve their health, well-being and quality of life.
