I am a member of the Firm's Litigation and Securities Practice Groups specializing in civil litigation with concentrations in securities law and commercial disputes. I co-chair the Firm's Litigation Practice Group.I am routinely involved in handling disputes that involve securities investments, regulatory investigations and enforcement actions, brokerage industry employment, contracts, non-competition agreements, trade secrets, employment, shareholders, partnerships, collections and leasing.The Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory has awarded me its highest legal ability and ethical standards rating (AV - very high to preeminent).I regularly provides advice and representation to regional, national and international securities firms, public and privately held corporations, and individuals. I have extensive experience in federal and state courts, arbitration, mediation and in securities law enforcement matters. These matters often involve requests for immediate injunctive relief and the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), including arbitration and mediation. I have accepted appointments as an arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), New York Stock Exchange, American Arbitration Association, National Arbitration Forum, as well as a case evaluator for the Oakland County Circuit Court and District Courts. I was an invited speaker at the annual Michigan State University Law School Midwest Securities Law Institute.
