The mission of NEO Pantry is to offer online shoppers locally produced, quality, authentic, shelf-stable items for their pantry and provide the local family suppliers of those goods an additional sales channel and support for their business endeavors.Products Initial product selection for NEO Pantry is breakfast related, including baking mixes, honey, maple syrup, jams, and coffee. Because of packing and shipping costs in comparison to the cost of individual products, the decision was made to offer pre-packaged assortments. Website & Marketing FocusAt start up the focus of the Website and Marketing was introduction of the NEO Pantry concept, information about the local suppliers, and the products provided. After a few weeks, inspirational material was added including Blogs, Videos, and Recipes, all relative to the products provided, and the Website and Marketing focus evolved to inspire utilizing breakfast products for non-breakfast purposes.Process DevelopmentDevelopment of a process to follow for on-going Website and Marketing updates has progressed. Butcher ProgramThe goal of the Butcher Program is to provide local Butchers a better online customer experience supported by digital marketing. The program will improve the butchers' online business, increase their average transactions and brand awareness, and enhance their eMarketing strategies. Coach House Consulting reached out to twelve Butchers to discuss the Butcher Marketplace concept, visited and presented proposals to seven. A Butcher who engaged with the program worked with one Intern to support content development on their website. The game changing Intern project was the development of a welcome page with copy, images and videos.Intern ProgramThe goal of the Intern Program is to provide interns with opportunities to develop the skills necessary for future career endeavors, and possibly securing intern positions with the butchers. In the program, the interns will build their portfolios, gain experience in a real-life work setting and receive growth coaching, both personal and professional.
