The Formus platform is the world's first AI-automated 3D planner, empowering orthopaedic surgeons with unprecedented insight into the pre-op planning.- I was responsible for leading the Software Engineering function at Formus Labs. A large part of the team was AI and R&D Engineers to lead the Deep Learning model we used to generate 3D models of the patients anatomy.- Responsible for the build, support and on-going maintenance of the Product.- Created a Technology Vision and Roadmap and worked with the CEO to make long term plans on the future of the platform and how we operate in Engineering.Key Achievements- In a highly regulated environment, getting the company back to regular 2 monthly releases. This instilled confidence with our key customers that allowed us to re-negotiate our contract.- Worked closely with our Head of Regulatory to get our MD-SAP certification.- Build up a solid partner relationship with GCP to secure a $100,000 start-up credit.- Delivered many key new features to our customer to increase adoption in the Australia market.- Supported the rest of the business to expand the product globally.
