Maintained data integrity by updating & adding Salesforce records & researching correct information as needed. Designed and developed marketing or promotional materials for mailings or events using Microsoft Publisher, Canva, and Adobe design products (Photoshop, InDesign). Prepared mailing lists, drafted letters, and performed mail merges and other tasks related to mailings. Assisted with other PR projects as needed- this included writing press releases and blog posts, updating the website, developing e-blasts, etc.

I was promoted to Lead Caller after just a few months of working, which included synthesizing call data, keeping other callers on task, and training new employees. As Head of Telecommunications for Coe College I was responsible for prospective student outreach. Outreach subject matter varied, but consistently covered topics such as application status, advertising and scheduling visits, and answering potential students' questions about entering college.

This position works with the Director of Programming to assist in the planning and execution of on-campus recruitment events.

For my FAFSA work study I worked at Campus Information. I operated the campus switchboard and answered, directed, and recorded calls made to the college.

This internship had not existed prior to my employment, and was created by the Regional Director of Development, who I worked directly with, and myself. While working here, I assisted one of the 501 (c)(3)'s in hiring and determining salary for a grant writer, and consistently synthesized data from feasibility study proposals. Multiple times, I organized promotional events with turnouts of 50 people or more. I also helped with upkeep of online presence for Hatch Development, Perennial Properties, and Friends of Cedar Lake, and organized calendar details and deadlines for my employers.

I worked with Gordmans for over five years allowing me to experience retail and guest service throughout the entire store and at numerous levels. As Guest Service Associate, I excelled in assessing customer conflicts and taking action to rapidly resolve issues. I was also responsible for knowing inventory, all services offered by the company and how to operate them, as well as use training materials for new employees. I managed all operating registers and cashiers, and often maximized customer flow by operating two registers. I received the “Employee of the Month” award multiple times during employment, including after I transferred to the Cedar Rapids location in 2014
