Hi, I’m Madison Laughlin, a working professional with a decade of experience working in a diverse set of industries who’s looking to continue working with youth. I am a thoughtful and deliberate employee who always puts people first, whether they be your customers or my team. I have worked with kids in a diverse set of environments, from summer camp to the classroom. I am a fast learner who you can reliably count on to produce quality, customer-focused work.As an Informatics student at the University of Washington, I learned broad skills across all the nooks and crannies of the tech industry; from data to development to design, I have foundational knowledge and the ability to communicate with experts in those disciplines. I also tackled and managed projects for real clients developing real products during my time at UW, including UW-IT and Age Friendly Seattle. During my four years at Pagliacci Pizza, I managed day-to-day operations and ensured optimal operations in often suboptimal conditions, especially throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. As a decade-plus volunteer at Seattle Children’s Stanley Stamm Summer Camp, I have direct experience managing and organizing teams of volunteers. I spearheaded the orientation process for the Waterfront team in 2019, as well as leading the marketing for the camp’s fundraising guild and their fundraisers. In 2021, I was awarded one of Pagliacci Pizza’s greatest honors, the Service Beyond Expectations Core Value Award. I demonstrated a deep commitment to our customers, going above and beyond to ensure our customers left our store happy and with the quality of food they expect from Pagliacci. I also trained the crew to put customers first and prioritize quality above all else while working directly with customers on till, as well as defining expectations for other positions to support these objectives.
