As a tutor, I work with Messiah College students of all ages and areas of study to improve their writing. Our focus is not merely to foster appropriate grammar and usage, but also address areas of argument, organization, and style

Working at the circulation desk I helped patrons locate and check out books, checked in and re-shelved books, managed patron accounts, and took inventory of books.

As a experimental position, the job has considerable flexibility depending on the demands of the Residence Director. During my time in the position I created schedules for the Residence Assistants in the building, helped run staff meetings, coordinated events for the staff as well as the 300 residence in the buildings, wrote a monthly newsletter for the residence hall, and assisted the Residence Director in many other ways.

Working closely with Messiah College Professor Crystal Downing, I help her find sources for her research, edit writing excerpts, and many other odd tasks.

As Residence Assistant, I worked with a fellow RA to help 60 first year students successfully transition to college life by mentoring them, providing support, planning activities, enforcing rules, and much more.
