Barbara is a highly motivated manager who has a very diverse background, in retail/FMCG, automotive companies Automobiles Peugeot and BMW Group, and in trade management. Growing up in Slovenia, Egypt and India, where she went to British and American schools, and working in France, where she also finished her masters in marketing management at ESSEC, she is an international person, fluent in Slovene, English, French, SrboCroatian and Italian.She has shown a strong commitment and willingness to perform, drive change and embrace new challenges. Being a people person with good presentation skills and a positive attitude toward the unexpected, she can lead teams through motivation, innovation and is ready to take risks to reach company objectives. She is flexible, open minded and ingenious, always looking for fast moving and exciting business environments. She was also one of three finalists for Slovenian marketing manager of the year in 2010.She has been leading the British-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce since 2016 with great success, exceeding KPIs, doubling the chamber members, more than doubling the number of events and being awarded Best Chamber of the Year 2018 by the Council of the British Chambers of Commerce in Europe. She is also the president of Lions Club Ljubljana Ilirija , a charity organisation in Slovenia.
