The day I graduated from high school my literature teacher told me I wouldn’t last more than a few months as an electromechanical engineer student because my true passion and talent laid in the arts. Surprisingly, he was only half right – I lasted two years before switching my major. And from that moment on, I have never looked back! My bachelor’s degree in Sound Engineering allowed me to begin my journey in the creative industries, but I knew that my academic journey was far from over! This is why I decided to join an associate degree in arts at LaSalle College Vancouver – class of September 2024. 😄🎓My passion for storytelling has always been the backbone of my life, which is woven by the deepest love for videogames, books, cinema, and music. Lucky for me, my work as a development coordinator demands a never-ending exploration of all these realms, as it is crucial that at the forefront of the industry’s trends. From my background in sound engineering to my current role as a script analyst and development coordinator, I am building a diverse skill set that aligns seamlessly with the technical world of narrative design. My ultimate goal is to be part of a team that crafts experiences that go beyond mere entertainment but can also resonate deeply with the audience's heart and spine. I'd love to connect and explore together the huge impact of powerful stories! 🪐🔭
