I’m Mike—designer and Creative Director based in Denver, CO. I love people, and that’s why I committed my work to helping brands be human and keep it simple.Over the course of my career, I’ve scared investors, stressed executives, and panicked boardrooms, but always for the sake of doing what's right and creating great work together. Along the way, I helped big and emerging brands to find their voice and shape scary ideas into long-lasting legacies. I assembled loud teams of people smarter than me and rocked the boat of industries like travel, aerospace, technology and more. And as I’m required to highlight, always delivered a positive ROI.I believe that the best design is human, inclusive, and a powerful engine for change. Great brands are not made by individuals, but rather a collective of strong-willed and passionate people. I try to always surround myself with these people and celebrate the importance of a curated and immaculate vibe.At the end of the day, design has the power to make our lives better. From product to brand, there’s lots of joy in the process.I smoke meat on weekends, drink beer at junior league soccer, and only rarely sneak my son out of school to browse the comic book store.
