For many years I consulted for Johnson & Johnson to help modernize their internal sales application while adding a plethora of new features. Then went over to American Airlines where I architected the front-end application for their internal flight management system. Worked as a Consultant for American Airlines to modernize the internal application used for flight management and bring it to the cloud. I architected the front-end application taking a Micro-Frontend approach so that each component can be isolated, tested, and deployed individually allowing other applications to easily bring in different components to their applications easily. The core application was written from the ground up using Angular 15 and each micro-frontend component was an Angular 15 Element that was packaged as custom elements.Highlights:- Architected the application structure, including a small proof of concept of the finalized design implementation.- Lead a small group of developers and performed reviews on all being merged into the project to ensure they followed the coding standards we set in place.- Set up Git Actions to automatically deploy the application whenever a new commit happened.

Worked as a Consultant for Johnson & Johnson to modernize the internal sales application for their medical device sector. Originally written in Adobe Flex (Flash), I helped to convert the base to AngularJS and am now in the process of converting it into Angular all while continuing to support and add features into the application. The monolithic application is written with Java / Spring server architecture using an Oracle database and Lucene for quick indexing. I lead and laid out the ground structure for the front-end conversions and have been assisting & mentoring other developers along the way.Highlights:- Contributed to software engineering experience throughout the software lifecycle, from requirements gathering, development, testing, and successful deployments.- Practiced AGILE methodologies and participated in ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, iteration reviews, and retrospectives.- Developed custom D3 Charts and implement various charting libraries to better visualize data.- Lead the team of developers when upgrading the front-end application by demonstrating preferred methodologies and implementing a set of clean coding standards.

Lead Developer for Top Gun Performance Solutions working soley in the Ruby & Ruby on Rails tech stack where I have created / managed many applications. Being just the second programmer to be brought onto the team, we set forth on a journey to build a scalable (SASS Model) suite of tool that would be used as a platform for freely sharing documents and course materials over a secured corporate website. To build this application we used Ruby on Rails (as a back-end RESTful framework), Angular JS (as a front-end JS Framework), Redis + Sidekiq (for background processing), Apache Solr (advanced searching), Chef / Ansible (Server Provisioning), and PubNub (for pub-sub message queue between rails and angular). As the team grew we split up into two teams each working on seperate modules of our massive application. In addition to my normal development I was incharge of making sure everyone on my team knew what they were working on and making sure that each part of the puzzle would come back and fit together once each had been finished.
