This company is an automotive interiors supplier. I had a contract postion there and was responsible to develop business cases for new programs – domestic and transplant OEM’s. I was also the lead team member in quote reviews – working closely with Account and Program Managers.

This was a start up company with patents on a new process for decorative plastics. I was responsible for all activities related to the development and promotion of this technology. I managed part builds, presentations to perspective partners, business plans, and product cost development.

Takata is a major global safety systems supplier with US headquarters in Auburn Hills. I was responsible for quoting new business opportunities and engineering changes; piece price and tooling negotiations, price and cost tracking, sales forecast, assist in resolving accounts receivable issues, and managing commercial open issues.

I also developed standard process rates with Toyota purchasing and created pricing models used for quoting Toyota business.

I was responsible for generating cost estimates for automotive seat tracks and recliners (power and manual). I also was instrumental in improving estimating and business plan models.

I invented a golf training product and was able to secure high profile endorsements and infomercial marketing. I was also responsible to get a manufacturing facility to produce the plastic parts, sourcing all component parts, and managing the tool builds.I kept monthly financial statements and managed the distrutions of profit.
