I have a portfolio of interest that keeps me nimble. As a design professional and educator, I bring a creative confidence that gets others excited about their design decisions. My passion is drawing, writing, teaching, and researching problems that have yet to be realized– exploring the practical to the fringe. I am a lecturer in the graduate design studios at the University of Houston. Research interest have been published in recent articles in ‘How Stuff Works’, ‘Urban Land Magazine’ and ‘Fast Co’. I may also be found pitching an idea called the Pierce Skypark which received an award for ‘analog representation’ in the 2016 Architecture Newspaper ‘Best of Design Awards’.
