Michael Tetemke Mehari received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (2006) from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, and a master's degree in Electronic Engineering (2011) from KU Leuven, campus Groept T, Belgium. Then, he joined the Internet technology and Data science Lab (IDLab) of Ghent University (2012) and received his doctoral degree by 2018. Currently, he is a post-doctoral researcher at IDLab/imec working on the openwifi development platform within the SDR research group. During the past decade, he has been involved in multiple national (i.e. FORWARD, QOCON), European (i.e. ORCA, eWINE, WISHFUL, CREW), and international projects (i.e. DARPA SC2) advancing state-of-the-art wireless communications. His research interests include the design of embedded wireless systems and next-generation wireless technologies, collaborative and cooperative networks, and experimental-driven research.
