Six park-and-rides in major freeway corridors each possess a series of unique transit priority features that play a primary role in the strong RAPID (bus rapid transit) system ridership of 1 million annual passengers. Team-Leader during the department’s strongest time of expansion when three new facilities opened and five others were upgraded to service the major transit system expansion in 2003. During this time, simultaneously managed the Ed Pastor Transit Center, Bell Road/SR-51and Shea Boulevard/SR-51 park-and-rides through all phases of development, totaling $20 million.
