Started a new position as HOD of Metallurgy Inspection, Heat Treatment and Raw Material in Micro Turner - 6, Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.

+ Responsible for ensuring casting quality of wheels before next value addition process+ Heat treatment Process monitoring of the wheels for Heromotocorp & Revolt + Carrying out metallurgical inspection of the wheels+ Conducting product and process quality audits in line with Zero- defect approach. + Die set up & Die Scrap approval reports preparation for all existing and upcoming models+ Handling customer complaints/ Warranty issues for metallurgy related issues of Alloy wheels

(Forgings:-Gears, transmission shafts, fasteners)+ Heat treatment process monitoring (Annealing, normalizing, carburizing, Carbo-Nitriding & Induction hardening etc.)+ To conduct various metallurgical tests for raw material and finished parts by destructive and non-destructive testing (Hardness testers, microscopic evaluation, RA%, Carbonate %, Spectro Analysis, case depth etc.)+ Work towards implementation and improvisation of quality processes in metallurgical laboratory+ Metallurgical failure analysis & elimination of root causes of recurrent process deviations which lead to processing issues or customer complaints+ To collaborate with suppliers for metallurgical non-confirmities

(Two wheeler Engine and Frame parts)+ Metallurgical inspection of incoming and finished products+ Millipore inspection of all engine components+ Metallurgical analysis of components failed at customer end and in market+ Prepare inspection plan and testing for metallurgical aspects at Level 1,2 & 3 and co ordinate with suppliers
