Project Manager
CurrentSupports the USPS Strategic Management Office (SMO) with direct project management, business, and technical support across all SMO portfolio initiatives. Provides critical program management support to ensure a smooth initiation and ongoing execution of various initiatives including project schedule creation, status and action tracking and reporting, stakeholder management, and SMO integration for Postmaster General (PMG) reports. Working to encourage the successful completion of current initiatives, focusing of possible efficiencies, while maximizing resources. Manage risk/issue register and overall risk management process; track the status of risks, issues, and action items while proactively monitoring the escalation process. Management of internal governance meetings and presentations for Senior leadership and Executive team. Monitor projects to ensure that projects are implemented, supported, and closed accurately and in accordance with key milestones and established project standards are upheld and clearly defined throughout the entire process of each project’s development and execution. Providing on going project management support for nationwide software deployment, representing Millions in potential revenue recovery from short paid business mail.
