I am a second-year medical student at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. I am originally from York, Maine, a small tourist town where I spent my summers boating, swimming, and working at a lobster bake. I attended college at the University of Central Florida in Orlando on a full-ride scholarship as a National Merit Student. There I was involved in many clubs and activities around UCF including Hearts for the Homeless Orlando, where I served as the Officer of Community Outreach and SLAM, a mentoring program for 7th grade girls interested in STEM. I also conducted extensive research in neonatal palliative care and have published several research papers. In 2023, I was inducted into the Order of the Pegasus, the most prestigious award given at UCF.At Alpert Medical School, I am involved in many organizations including running the Food and Health elective, serving as a medical school representative for the Rhode Island Medical Society, and conducting research on infertility, infant sleep practices, and medical education. I am a member of the Medical Education Scholarly Concentration, and I have a deep interest in improving medical education and study strategies for students.
