Hello! I am a creative that builds inclusive & welcoming experiences for people to connect, grow, and show up as their authentic self. As Director of Investor Programs at Greater Fort Wayne Inc., I have the honor of building and executing various community programs such as Leadership Fort Wayne, Allen County Leaders Luncheons, and the GFW Inc. Women's Network.I have been involved in event management for 14 years and counting. While attending Ball State University, I was an active student member of professional networking organizations like Indiana Live Events Association (ILEA) and Meeting Professionals International (MPI). I graduated from BSU with a bachelor’s degree in hospitality & event management, minoring in business management.Prior to joining the GFW Inc. team, I had the exciting job of Event Coordinator at Sweetwater. While there, I created seamless events for the company’s employees and nonprofit/community guests, in addition to managing logistics for customer appreciation events like GearFest and the Pavilion Concert Series. I am a 2018 graduate of the Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana Leadership Institute, a 2021 graduate of Leadership Fort Wayne, and a 2021 Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly Forty Under 40 award recipient. In my free time, I run a modern calligraphy design business and mentor women as a BODi wellness partner. I currently serve as a board member of two local youth leadership development programs, Pave the Path and 4WARD, and drive change on the economic security committee for the Women's Fund of Greater Fort Wayne. As a proud native of Fort Wayne and former magnet arts student, I keep my passion for music, theatre, and the arts alive by volunteering at the Fort Wayne Civic Theatre and attending many of the city’s diverse festivals and events. I enjoy hiking & traveling (prioritizing an annual "soulbbatical" for restorative rest), DIY house projects, spending time with my family at the lake, and curling up with a good book alongside my three cats.If any of my passions or experience align with yours, let's connect!
