In my current role, I develop and deliver engaging presentations to prospective students, showcasing learning opportunities and helping them make informed decisions. I design and organize workshops and interactive activities that enhance the educational experience for current students. Additionally, I conduct targeted outreach to at-risk students, providing the support needed to improve retention and academic success.

In this role, I focused on promoting student success and retention by providing individualized support to a diverse caseload of approximately 200 undergraduate students. I assisted students with academic advising, including degree pathways, course selection, and the declaration of majors, ensuring they stay on track toward their educational goals.I also lead the design, management, and continuous improvement of our department’s Blackboard LMS community, serving around 3,500 students. My work on the LMS focused on creating an inclusive and informative environment that enhanced student engagement and retention through engaging multimedia content and tailored learning resources.In addition to these responsibilities, I facilitated in-person workshops, delivered presentations for adult learners and high school students, and analyzed data to inform strategic decisions for outreach campaigns. I also ensured compliance with FERPA privacy regulations in all aspects of student support, and I actively collaborated to develop standard operating procedures for new departmental initiatives.

I tutored students in a variety of subjects as well as study habits and time management strategies. Also handled front desk responsibilities such as professional phone communication, scheduling, and data entry.

Professionally communicated via phone, email, and in person with students and faculty. Provided excellent customer service to visitors, and helped create departmental event advertisements. I also performed detailed inventory of multiple labs and office spaces.
