My journey has been an intense period of self-discovery and exploration. I initially decided on a career in nursing as I had a strong desire to help people and improve their lives. However, as I moved further in my education, I became aware that the nursing profession didn't correspond with my genuine passions. I decided to change my major to business in an effort to find a new outlet for my creativity and entrepreneurial energy.While navigating the business world, I came upon the appealing field of interior design. I was captivated by the idea of transforming homes and creating beautiful spaces. I began on a route to pursue my goal of becoming an interior designer with a sense of creativity and purpose. Yet while I continue my studies at a college with no interior design classes, I noticed that I was progressively losing interest. A period of doubt and deep thought resulted in an unexpected source of inspiration.During this time, I have had the pleasure of working at a high end salon and spa, as well as watch my sister, a licensed hair stylist become a successful business owner/CEO of her own salon. I became inspired after seeing her drive, originality, and entrepreneurial success, as well as being drawn in by the atmosphere of the salon's energy which sparked a new passion for esthetics. The skill of enhancing natural beauty and encouraging overall skin care captured my attention.
