Youth Advisor At UysbEmbassy Of Denmark In Uganda Jun 2024 - PresentKampala, UgOn June 6th, I was selected to be part of the Uganda Youth Sounding Board (UYSB) formed by the Danish embassy in Kampala for a 3-year term. It's a great opportunity. The UYSB is a youth advisory board for the Danish embassy in Kampala, advocating for youth concerns, developing implementation strategies, and holding the embassy accountable when necessary. This entails gathering youth ideas, challenges, and solutions throughout the country and sharing them with the embassy, where we discuss them and determine how we might modify them. I am focusing on climate change, leadership, and diversity as a climate activist. -

Brand AmbassadorGse Technologies Jan 2024 - Jun 2024Malta, MtThis organisation is a scam please don't trust it, starting from the founder Sabrina Agius I want to let you know about an upsetting incident at the 2024 Green Vision Summit, which took place from May 28th to June 3rd in Malta. In January 2024 i was appointed as the new brand ambassador for the summit but decided to resign on June 3rd due to a disagreement with the founder, Sabrina Agius.Sabrina refused to honor the compensation terms we had agreed upon before I took on the role. She asked me to sign documents falsely indicating that I had received payment so that she could obtain funds from the Maltese government. after getting it she started acting strange whenever i emailed to demand for my first half money before the summit. Sabrina also demanded that I promote her organization on social media and create videos about the summit in exchange for a significantly reduced payment of 250 euros, instead of the agreed 4000 euros. When I requested half of the promised payment of 2000 euros prior to the event, Sabrina claimed that the money had been used to cover my flight expenses, even though this was not part of our initial agreement. After I insisted on receiving payment, Sabrina stopped responding and has since refused to compensate me.She even brought in lawyers so she could win this case, forgetting that I had all the screenshot conversations on WhatsApp and via email and in a written agreement when I asked legal if they were aware of this force, she used to ask me to send her signed invoices and documents that I have been paid, legal saw my email and they never came back.I feel that Sabrina's actions are exploitative and disrespectful. In the past, individuals from African backgrounds have been taken advantage of by European figures, and I refuse to stay silent in the face of such mistreatment. I believe Sabrina Agius must fulfill her financial obligations to me, and I will not let this matter rest until it is resolved. -

Cctv OperatorCoca-Cola Beverages Uganda Feb 2020 - Nov 2022Kampala, UgBefore I pursued a diploma in IT and Computer Science with a focus on Environmental Activism, at the beginning of 2020, I signed my first adult contract to work as a CCTV Camera Operator and technician for Century Bottling Company (Coca-Cola in Namanve Mukono - Uganda). I worked there for almost 3 years, but my activism started to conflict with my job as I began focusing on environmental issues related to plastic waste, which threatened Coca-Cola's profits. After my annual leave ended on 28th November 2022, I resigned from my position, just two months before the end of my 3-year contract. I made this decision because I heard rumors from my coworkers that the company wasn't pleased with my environmental activism side hustle. After all, it was damaging the business, especially on plastic production, and had no intention of renewing my contract at the end of the 3-year term. -
