• Setting up the estimates, the budgets and the construction timetable for the client and developing the construction strategy• Executing the project according to the project plan.• Developing forms and records to document project activities• Setting up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured.• Establishing the initial project schedule; allocating resources; controlling and communicating the schedule; displaying milestones; and identifying and reporting problems• Monitoring the progress of the project and making adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project. • Overseeing the construction of new facilities and the remodeling of existing facilities to assure compliance with governmental codes and specifications• Assuring all proper permits and bonds are secured, final approvals received, lien waivers obtained and bonds closed out• Providing oversight and direction during the construction process from groundbreaking through issue of final occupancy permit• Assuring work is completed in accordance with construction plans and specifications, to the highest quality standards and within budget • Identifying and communicating new ideas and cost saving opportunities to construct or remodel facilities at lower costs• Working with government officials, utility companies and suppliers to assure project deadlines are met• Reviewing of the engineering, building and site design with selected Architect and Engineering firms• Coordinating large maintenance and reset projects for existing facilities
