Our goal with the first iteration of Graphnote was to facilitate discussions around data. We focused on being able to easily upload a dataset and generate a simple visualization. And then provide intuitive ways of annotating the data to fuel discussions and collaborations. Since the first iteration Graphnote has transformed itself to an analytics reporting tool for Online Marketers and ventured to restaurant food cost analytics. I stepped aside Oct of 2014 due to personal reasons.For the first iteration of the product we were inspired by the work of Prof. Jeffrey Michael Heer.Some of the interesting aspects of the company i worked on:• Conducted customer development interviews with potential users• Performed market research to understand market and competitors• Built visual analysis tool and data collaboration platform for sense making of complex datasets• Design and implemented interactive annotations on tables and visualizations of datasets• Design engine to poll datasets according to predefined schedule and augment existing datasets• Enrich existing datasets with public and private data

Design and develop a Java web application (using MySQL as database) that can be integrated into the University intranet and enable users to create, send out and manage surveys and record, analyze and export (csv) responses.

- Conducted Market Research and wrote business proposal- Estimated, proposed and acquired total funding of $10,000 from two different sources•- Analyzed, researched and fulfilled all the IT requirements of GLOBEf.m.- Developed (Customized)/Installed open source CMS (Drupal)•- Administering Windows 2008 Server and IIS 7 to host the website and to host the encoded stream•- Conducted interviews to acquire a diverse staff of 25 student volunteers•- Training staff for safe and best use of equipment and IT resources
